Job Description-

  • Unemployment Insurance (UI) Fraud Remediation
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unemployment Insurance (UI) Functional Consultant with subject matter expertise in Unemployment Insurance Fraud.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the UI system and several types for UI Frauds, fraud remediation processes, and relevant regulations, including a deep understanding of the UI programs, Special Programs, Adjudication, payment, charging, adjustment and overpayment, key interfaces related to Fraud detection in UI systems, federal reports, and fraud data analytics of the UI system.
  • The Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in building UI Fraud Remediation System and ensure successful implementation in production.
  • The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, particularly the business team of experts, to understand their requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

Responsibilities : UI Fraud Remediation Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert in UI Frauds.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Base UI program, Special Programs, Adjudication, overpayment processes, key interfaces related to UI systems, federal reports, and data analytics of the UI system.
  • Collaborate with the project team to analyze several types of fraudulent claims in the systems, processes, and document the requirements for Fraud Remediation System Propose and implement effective solutions and strategies to remediate fraud from UI Benefits system considering federal reports, data analytics, and relevant UI interfaces.
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis :
  • Engage extensively with the customer's business team of experts to understand their specific requirements and pain points related to UI Benefits.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current processes, systems, and data to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Document and communicate business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to guide the development and implementation of UI Fraud Remediation initiatives, considering federal reports, data analytics, and relevant UI interfaces.
  • Identifying changes, impact for any new requirements, preparing wireframes , preparing integration specification documents based on business processes.
  • Solution Design and Implementation :
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and configure UI Benefits system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements, federal reports, data analytics, and relevant UI Fraud related interfaces.
  • Provide expert guidance on remediating fraud from UI Benefits, system configurations, and customization options, considering federal reports, data analytics, and relevant UI interfaces.
  • Conduct thorough testing of UI Fraud Remediation System, including integration with relevant UI Fraud interfaces, federal reports, and data analytics, ensuring quality and accuracy of the implemented solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with business stakeholders, including subject matter experts, project managers, and executives, to understand their priorities, goals, and concerns.
  • Facilitate productive discussions and workshops to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment between business requirements, technical implementations, federal reports, data analytics, and relevant UI interfaces.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the customer's business team, providing expert recommendations and insights on UI Benefits processes, relevant UI interfaces, federal reports, data analytics, and optimization opportunities.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentoring

Experience

  • Extensive experience of + years working on UI Modernization projects, with a strong focus Unemployment Insurance Fraud and Remediation
  • In-depth knowledge of Unemployment Insurance processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Tax and Appeals within the UI domain is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in engaging with customers' business teams of experts, understanding their requirements, and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
