About the Company and Accounting Clerk Opportunity :
- Our client is a staple in the hospitality industry. Due to growth, they are hiring an Accounting Clerk on a contract to hire basis to workin their office in Baltimore, MD
- Schedule : 100% in office in Baltimore, MD
- Flexible work hours starting between 8 : 30-9 M-F
Job Duties for the Accounting Clerk :
- Prepare the daily bank deposits and control funds
- Answer general accounting phone line
- Work with Accounts Receivable to complete reconciliation
- Prepare billing, entry, and reconciliation
- Assist payroll with payment calculations and deductions
- Reconcile credit card and taxes collected
- Complete month-end journal entries
Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk :
- Degree in a related field a plus, but not required
- 1+ years' accounting experience required
- Basic Excel skills required
