Job Title : Echo Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging
Location : New Lenox, IL 60451
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Days : 10-hour shifts
Job Overview :
The Echo Technologist will work under the supervision of the Radiology management team, performing ultrasound imaging in the specialty areas of echocardiography and vascular studies.
This role involves providing high-quality, clinically relevant images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in computer systems for documentation and reporting, and be a collaborative member of the healthcare team.
Education & Certification :
- Graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program
- Holds a minimum of one certification from one of the following
- Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Experience :
- NICU experience, including micro preemies.
- Echo / Vascular experience.
Skills & Attributes :
- Proficiency with sonography equipment and imaging techniques.
- Strong collaboration skills with healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance and handle "on-call" shifts.
