BECOME OUR SALON AREA MANAGER

This full-time hybrid position requires extensive travel to salons (85% of the time). You will report to your assigned salon when you are not traveling.

You start your day as a Salon Area Manager embodying YSG values of always exuding a friendly welcome, maintaining a focus that increases productivity, and sharing your gift of creativity with our internal and external customers! Your role requires you to efficiently direct, motivate, and administer salon operations across your region.

You recruit and retain productive cosmetology staff, providing them with guidance and coordinating ongoing training for their development.

You conduct weekly salon check-ups via phone or camera while promptly resolving maintenance issues and assisting with IT requests.

You'll be responsible for reviewing salon reports, ensuring precise payroll, overseeing inventory control, and driving business growth by increasing client count and boosting sales.

Moreover, you'll gather social media content and leverage various platforms to promote stylists, service offerings, and sales promotions.

Your role requires active participation in company and regional meetings aimed at fostering continual improvement and growth for YSG and its team of stylists.

With your dedication to excellence, you'll propel success across all facets of salon management.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Current cosmetology license, driver's license, and vehicle insurance
• Salon management experience
• Ability to lead, coach, and manage, with accountability for 7-12 salon locations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to plan salon visits, budget a plan according to travel allowance, and conduct salon visits daily
• Capability to work 85% in-salon production hours and 15% administrative hours weekly
• A self-starter who is self-aware and can work independently or as a contributing teammate
