We are seeking an experienced Arc Welder Fabricator for a Direct Hire role in Atlanta, GA
- This a field role, not shop work
- This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental etc
- Pay Range : $20 - $26 / h (depending on experience)
- 1st Shift with OT opportunity
Responsibilities for Arc Welder
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the required welding processes and methods
- Use specialized equipment to weld and fabricate metal components according to the specific project requirements
- Measure and mark metal materials for cutting and shaping
- Inspect and ensure the quality of the fabricated metal components
- Collaborate with the project team to plan and organize the welding tasks based on project priorities and timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, and report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor
Requirements for Arc Welder
- 3 plus years proven experience as an Arc Welder
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and safety procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to work in a demanding construction environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the project team
