Job Description

Join our client EMSSTAT in Norman, OK as a Paramedic and be part of a dedicated team providing pre-hospital stabilization and life-saving care.

You will work alongside medical professionals in emergency departments, respond to various emergencies, and collaborate with public safety agencies.

Salary Range : $15.46 / hour - $25.24 / hour (based on experience) Required to work at least 10 24 - hour shifts a month.

Key Responsibilities Performing emergency and stabilizing procedures using protocols Responding to emergency and routine requests for transportation Assessing patient conditions and administering appropriate medical treatment Schedule and Shift Details Required to work at least 10 24-hour shifts a month.

Requirements

Medical / Surgical (MedSurg) (1+ years)

Valid Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P) in the state of Oklahoma (OK)

ALL of the following valid licenses / certifications :

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)

Driving License

Are you at least 21 years old?

Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Paramedic License - Required NO EMT CANDIDATES.

Minimum requirement is completion of the requirements for licensure (DOT curriculum paramedic program) recognized by the Oklahoma State Department of health in accordance with EMS regulations which allows individual to sit for the State and National Registry exams for licensure as an EMT.

Must be at least 21 years of age in order to be insured by NRH carrier. - Required Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Required BLS - Required ACLS - Required PALS - Required Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals (PEPP) training is required within 9 months of hire.

Requirements

Required skills & experience : 1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of LA (or other NLC state).

3) 2+ years previous experience working in care management and / or with CKD / ESRD patients is preferred. 4) Ability to take call remotely on some nights and weekends 5) Must have Home Health and / or Hospice experience.

Preferred 2+ years experience in any of the following : Dialysis Care Home Health Care Hospice Case Management (CM)
