Job Responsibilities
Demand Management :
- Participation in monthly Sales and Operations Planning sessions Managing and correcting forecasting consumption errors
- Analyzing missing components reports for product built in house and expediting where possible.
- Collaboration with external suppliers regarding the stated and changed demands resulting from S&OP cycles
Engineering Change Management :
- Communicate implementation schedules and changes with all impacted organizational parties - External & Internal
- Create implementation schedule with key stakeholders
Inventory Management :
Fulfilling the delivery model defined by the Production Planner
Purchase / Production Order Management :
- Review Exception Reporting to ensure that the flow of materials are in line with required assembly schedule plans
- Releasing required production, engineering, project, and sample PO’s Resolving any receiving hold issues that arise at Danfoss receiving docks
- Releasing and managing production orders for operations
Analysis of Production Output :
- Collect and process data related to production output
- Compare used vs earned hours to provide profitability metrics for the production team
- Review outputs and yields on a product by shift basis to identify opportunities for improvement
- Generation and support of Daily and Weekly KPIs for the production team
Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and / or certificate within Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in parts and supplier management preferred in relevant fields (ex. Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering)
- Good communication skills, problem solving, analytical skills and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (including MS Word & Excel)
- Must have experience with SAP or similar ERP system
