Overview
A busy and private family of five living in Hudson Yards, NYC is looking to add two weekend nanny / housekeepers to their team.
The schedule for this role will be Saturday and Sunday, 7am until 3pm, with flexibility to add hours if needed.
Responsibilities
- All duties related to the care of the children including, but not limited to;
- Managing developmentally appropriate schedules
- Family laundry, tidying, and organization
- Food preparation
- Occasional errands- picking up groceries or mailing packages, etc.
- Keeping the boys safe and happy. This family is not looking for a disciplinarian.
Qualifications
- The family is looking for a candidate who has a proven track record and impeccable references
- Someone who understands when to step-in and step-out will do well here
- This is a quiet household and a calm low key presence is required
- Looking for a long-term fit
- Team-player- housekeeping is part of this role and they are looking for someone who is willing to pitch-in.
Requirements
- Ability to go to Rhode Island during the Summers
- Willingness to wear scrubs when working (provided by family)
- No jewelry
- Willingness to follow the parents lead in terms of discipline
- Calm, quiet, and low key
Salary and Benefits
$35-$45 per hour
