About the Role

Index Governance Automation Associate

The Team :

The Index Governance Operations team is dedicated to supporting the Index Governance policies and procedures, and focuses on index methodologies, consultations, regulatory operations, and workflows and platforms.

This global team plays a critical role in index oversight and works collaboratively across the organization.

Responsibilities and Impact :

As an Index Governance Automation Associate, you will be responsible for leading efforts to identify areas for and improve processes in support of the end-to-end index governance lifecycle.

This highly visible role will be on the Index Governance Operations team within Index Governance and will support and advise on the application of various controls and processes.

This position will partner with index stakeholders on process improvement best practices to ensure alignment to policies and procedures.

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify gaps or potential improvements in existing processes
  • Recommend the application of new tools and platforms to aid in the support of Index Governance activities and efficiency
  • Define project scope, key stakeholders, roles & responsibilities, and resource requirements for new processes
  • Perform other strategic projects or duties as assigned by Head of Index Governance Operations
  • Project manage the application of process improvement opportunities

Compensation / Benefits Information :

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120K to $135K USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For :

Basic Required Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience in Power Platform - Power Automate (both cloud and desktop), Power Apps, Virtual Agent, Power BI, and Dataverse and integration of those tools with other platforms
  • Good understanding of Solutions and Pipelines in Power Platform
  • Extensive knowledge on PowerQuery and DAX in Power Platform
  • Extensive knowledge on Relational Database and SQL
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions (Business Analyst experience is a plus)
  • Direct experience in re-engineering / streamlining business processes

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Agile framework
  • Ability to work in an environment that could change often and with potential for quick deadlines
  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • General understanding of indices
