The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time or part-time Training Center Cook to join our team at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

As a Training Center Cook, you will be responsible for working with the highest quality and freshest ingredients with progressive techniques, while working directly with the team’s nutrition program.

$15.00 - $19.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following the team’s nutrition program, using fresh, high-quality ingredients to meet dietary requirements and performance goals
• Collaborate with the team’s nutritionist and chefs to plan and execute balanced, nutritious menus
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met while managing inventory and supplies efficiently
• Manage daily menu changes
• Provide services for 150 team members on a daily basis

Qualifications

• E xperience working with commercial kitchen equipment, such as in a high-volume kitchen or in catering preferred
• Knife skills are a huge plus but not necessary
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and take on whatever task is needed in the kitchen
• Reliable transportation and the ability to be on time every day
• Discretion based on working in a private kitchen
