Perform static and dynamic code scans and analyze results for vulnerabilities. Perform Penetration Testing. Maintain and manage automated security test suites.
Collaborate with Information Security operations and architecture team to address. Analyze system requirements for various computer system modules.
Create manual and automation test scripts for GUI, service, and database validation. Execute manual and automation test scripts.
Maintain manual and automation test scripts for regression testing. Log and track problems (bugs). Assist developer with debugging prod incidents.
Perform data validation. Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures. Collaborate with a globally distributed team.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship around app sec testing, automation, frameworks, and recommended solutions to known vulnerabilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Job requirements :
Requires Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology & Computing, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Application Security Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer.
Also requires 3 of experience with / using the following (which may have been obtained concurrently) :
- HP Fortify, Netsparker and Burpe Suite.
- Functional, non-functional, end-to-end, regression testing methodologies.
- ALM and Octane.
- Agile and SCRUM.
- UFT, Selenium, Maven, and Ready API.
- Automation and data testing.
- Security testing.
