Responsibilities :
- Assemble install repair and maintain mechanicaland electrical systems machinery and equipment in a manufacturingenvironment.
- Perform routine preventativemaintenance troubleshoot machinery issues and ensure equipmentoperates according to manufacturerspecifications.
- Read and interpret operationmanuals maintain a schedule for inspections and fabricate parts forrepairs and upgrades.
- Identify problems usingprecision measuring instruments clean and repair equipment andensure a safe and organized work area.
- Upgradeor convert obsolete electrical components and troubleshootProgrammable Logic Controls (PLCs).
Qualifications :
- Highschool diploma or GED with completion of a craft apprenticeship orequivalent education / experience in productionmaintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience inmanufacturing with strong skills in hydraulics pneumaticsmechanical systems and PLCs.
- Proficiency inreading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawingsand product manuals.
- Experience in machinesetup installation and troubleshooting mechanicalbreakdowns.
- Ability to perform calibrationsinstallation and maintenance of process and analyticalinstrumentation.
PreferredQualifications :
- Strong interpersonaldecisionmaking and project managementskills.
- Experience with inventory control andmaintaining continuity among workteams.
- Knowledge of safety procedures abilityto work a variable schedule and proficiency in using hand and powertools.
- Leadership skills with the ability tomanage multiple projects andpriorities.
- Physical capability to perform jobduties including lifting / moving up to 50 pounds and working in amanufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures andmovingmachinery.
