Jackson Acura is seeking experienced Service Technicians / Mechanics to add to our team. If you have experience in automotive service and maintenance, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities - Service Technician :

• Examine vehicles to determine the nature and cause of services and repairs needed,
• Perform those repairs and maintenance services, as well as preventative and routine maintenance tasks including systems such as brakes, A / C, tires, transmission, engine, oil changes, fluid flushes, warranty work, and recalls.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
• Document work performed
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician

Qualifications / Requirements - Service Technician :

• ASE certified, Honda Certified or Acura certified a big plus but not required
• At least 2 years of experience is required
• Excellent customer service skills are a must
• Product knowledge and tire quick service experience is a plus
• The successful applicant must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required
• Knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system; diagnostic equipment, and A / C equipment is a must
• Must have a valid Driver's license and clean driving record
