Job Summary
The Faculty Coordinator manages and coordinates faculty assignments for classes, workshops, and community programs. Responsibilities include scheduling, recruitment, and communication to ensure smooth operations and accurate class information.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule faculty and coordinate studio use.
- Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Confirm and communicate schedules and changes.
- Assist with class planning and documentation.
- Maintain and update class and event calendars.
- Input instructor schedules into Salesforce.
- Provide updates on class status and cancellations.
- Facilitate meetings and maintain communication channels.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of scheduling / event booking experience, preferably in arts education.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Excel, and Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative and independent work style.
- Engagement in the Oakland community.
- Commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Flexibility with work hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and a valid CA drivers license.
