This role is aligned to our pediatrics department. It is currently part time, averaging between 15-20 hours per week, however, has a potential to grow to to full time within 6 months and be transitioned to a salaried position.

Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will provide quality physical therapy services to patients in need, utilizing their expertise in acute care, pediatrics, anatomy knowledge, case management, geriatrics, patient service, and clinics.
You will work with a diverse patient population, including infants, toddlers, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Duties :
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' physical and mental well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on treatment plans
Skills :
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in case management and patient service
- Experience in acute care, pediatrics, ICU, medical imaging, geriatrics
- Ability to work effectively in hospital and clinic settings
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Adapt treatment plans to meet the specific needs of different age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Missouri state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience as a Occupational Therapist is preferred but not required for new graduates.
- Strong understanding of therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
