Job Description

You will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for :

  • Demonstrating a successful track record of producing high-quality PCBs
  • Possessing a broad understanding of electronic circuit layout and electronic packaging principles
  • Designing, capturing, performing layout, and routing digital and analog high-density, multi-layer printed wiring boards (PWBs)
  • Initiating new designs using inputs from Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Software (SW) teams
  • Exhibiting PCB design skills including RF, mixed signal, and mixed material technologies
  • Having knowledge of the PCB fabrication process
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of IPC standards
  • Troubleshooting designs using analytical analysis
  • Operating test equipment to test, analyze, and improve PCB design performance and manufacturability in the lab
  • Selecting appropriate simulation software for design as needed
  • Applying solid knowledge of RF grounding techniques to PCBs

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have :

  • PCB design software and tools experience, especially Altium
  • PCB fabrication process knowledge
  • IPC standards knowledge
  • Board verification tools familiarity
  • Electrical lab equipment experience
