Worldwide Perishables, A Profand Company , offers a global logistics network built on the largest state-of-the-art facility in the Northeast Our logistics team (Ocean, Air and Ground Logistics) is committed to providing superior solutions for worldwide transportation services.
Worldwide Perishables is looking to add a Billing Clerk to join our growing team, to perform a variety of accounting and customer service tasks in the Ground Logistics Department.
The ideal candidate would be enthusiastic, organized, and customer oriented with experience working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Communicates with customers to gather billing information.
- Keeps updated records of services rates per customer.
- Enters the billing information into the system.
- Process billing and prepares invoices : check and reconcile.
- Enters all required data for incoming or outgoing product into accounting and inventory system.
- Inputs payment history, upcoming payment information or other financial data into customers accounts.
- Searches for any payment inconsistencies or errors.
- Collaborates with customers, to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant work experience with billing process; warehouse or logistics industry will be a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written English.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
Rotating schedule every week :
- Week 1 : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm
- Week 2 : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7 : 00am to 4 : 00pm; Sunday 7 : 00am to 11 : 00am.
