Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Employee Relations Professional to join our team. This role is critical in fostering a positive, productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and helping to resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities :
- Employee Relations Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding employee relations issues, providing guidance and support on matters such as workplace conflicts, grievances, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
- Investigations & Conflict Resolution : Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
Gather facts, interview involved parties, and document findings while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Compliance & Legal Guidance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Stay current on changes in labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices, and advise management and employees on compliance matters.
- Employee Engagement & Satisfaction : Collaborate with HR Business Partners and management to develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
- Data & Trend Analysis : Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics (such as turnover, grievances, and workplace incidents).
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management to enhance employee relations and prevent potential issues.
- Training & Development : Design, develop, and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, performance management, company policies, and employee rights and responsibilities.
- Policy & Procedure Development : Assist in the creation and implementation of employee relations policies, procedures, and best practices that align with company values and legal requirements.
Ensure all policies are clearly communicated and accessible to employees and management.
Mediation & Facilitation : Act as a neutral mediator to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts between employees and management.
Use strong interpersonal skills to build trust, de-escalate tension, and foster positive working relationships.
- Record-Keeping & Documentation : Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential records of all employee relations cases, including investigations, outcomes, and resolutions, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Special Projects : Participate in special projects and initiatives related to employee relations, employee engagement, HR programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, with a proven track record of handling complex investigations and resolving workplace conflicts.
Previous experience in HR, legal compliance, or labor relations is highly desirable.
Communication Skills : Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, as well as with management and external stakeholders.
Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
Interpersonal Skills : Demonstrated ability to build relationships, maintain trust, and work effectively with diverse teams.
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to manage sensitive situations with tact and empathy.
- Problem-Solving : Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience providing practical and fair solutions to complex employee relations issues.
- Confidentiality & Integrity : Must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information and situations.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized HR organization (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience working in a multi-site or global environment is desirable.

Essential Functions :
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, copier, and printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with employees to give instructions. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
