We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator with 3-5 years of experience in the administration of venture debt loans to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary :

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and negotiation through to execution and renewal.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of contract administration in the financial services industry, specifically with venture lending.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Contract Management :

  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts related to venture debt loans.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and organized contract database, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date and easily accessible.

2. Documentation and Record Keeping :

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all contractual agreements and amendments.
  • Ensure all contractual documents are properly stored and archived.

3. Compliance and Risk Management :

  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and conditions, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

4. Collaboration and Communication :

  • Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related inquiries.

5. Reporting and Analysis :

  • Generate regular reports on contract status, key metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Conduct periodic audits of contracts and related processes to identify areas for improvement.

6. Process Improvement :

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance contract administration processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards in contract management.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract administration within the financial services industry, with a focus on venture debt loans.
  • Strong understanding of venture lending and associated contractual requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to venture debt lending.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with contract management systems and software.
  • Certification in contract management or related field.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and principles related to financial services contracts.

Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • On-site five days per week
