Seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established hospital-based group Behavioral Health practice (3 psychologists, 1 psychiatric nurse practitioner) in beautiful north-central Montana.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner must be a self-motivated professional who is a Licensed Registered Nurse endorsed by the Montana Board of Nursing as an Advance Practice Nurse in Psychiatric Nursing with at least hours of documented clinical training and experience in a multidisciplinary health care facility and National Certification.
The incumbent works collaboratively with other providers to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe, and manage medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, prepare medical records and refer patients.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, you will join a group of 35 medical providers treating a large catchment area along Montanas Hi-Line.
Services provided are primarily outpatient, but also include consultations regarding psychiatric issues in our emergency and inpatient departments.
Outpatient clinic hours are Monday through Friday with a 1 : 4 rotational call schedule.
