Are seeking a highly experienced Lead Electrician to oversee and execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on high-profile projects.
Position Overview :
The Lead Electrician will be responsible for managing the electrical work on job sites, ensuring that installations and repairs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
This role requires expertise in electrical systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of electricians and apprentices effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians and apprentices on various job sites.
- Perform and oversee the installation, estimation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, and circuit breakers.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (NEC and local building codes).
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical plans to ensure accurate installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure the smooth coordination of work.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all electrical work meets high standards of workmanship.
- Manage materials and inventory, ensuring proper tools and equipment are available on-site.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including time and material records.
