KB Dentistry is hiring a self-motivated, hard working dental assistant for our busy two doctor / three hygienist general dentistry office located in Midvale.
The desired candidate needs to be able to put patients at ease and carry on a conversation with the doctor and the patients while still being efficient and competent as an assistant.
The candidate must be willing to jump in and help anywhere that is needed in the office including helping the front office and hygienists as needed.
We use Dentrix and Dexis.
Schedule would be :
Mon - Wed 7 : 15-4 : 30 with a hour lunch
Thurs 7 : 15 - 1 : 30
1 Friday a month 7 : 15 - 1 : 30
We would love someone who wanted to work the full schedule or at least Mon thru Wed.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Taking x-rays and impressions
- Setting up operatories for procedures.
- Assisting the doctor during procedures.
- Fabricating temporary crowns.
- Operatory clean up, sterilizing instruments and maintaining dental equipment.
- Stocking supplies.
- Patient charting including updating the medical history, clinical notes, etc.
- Helping the hygienists with perio charting, x-rays, etc. as needed
- Helping the front office as needed
- Collaborating with the dental team to ensure an efficient and productive workflow.

Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.
