Opportunity :
LifeBridge Health, a Cancer Center of Excellence, is seeking a hematology-oncology APP to join our team at Sinai Hospital.
Our brand new, state-of-the-art and patient-centered facility is in the design phase. This impressive center will provide medical, radiation and palliative oncology under one roof.
The Cancer Center will be focused on exploratory care and balancing quality of life.
This team provides professional outpatient oncology / hematology services to patients at the cancer center and provides on-call consultation services to inpatients at Sinai Hospital.
The qualified candidate will work closely with our board-certified Medical Oncologists and fellow heme-onc APP’s. Candidate will be responsible for visits in the outpatient clinic, ensuring patients are cleared for treatment in the infusion center, and completing inpatient hospital consults as needed.

Qualifications :
EXPERIENCE : 3-5 years of Oncology / Infusion nursing experience required. Minimum of 2 years of ambulatory APP experience required.
Ambulatory and / or inpatient hematology / oncology APP experience preferred.
- EDUCTION / TRAINING : Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing or science. Or Maryland PA-C License and NCCPA Certification.
- CERTIFICATION : CPR, BLS and DEA Certified (or obtainable).
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES : Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients / families, as well as staff and physicians.
Excellent clinical knowledge base in oncology. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to function independently.
Experience with a team-based care model for Oncology services.
Consideration will be given to an appropriate combination of education / training and experience.
Desired Candidate :
- Ability to provide comprehensive care to a designated patient population.
- In collaboration with physicians, will perform physical and psychological patient assessments, diagnose, and treat episodic illnesses.
- Order and interpret laboratory, radiological and diagnostic studies.
- Provide oversight of the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and supportive therapies.
- Coordinate and communicate all aspects of care with patients / family and the healthcare team.
- Knowledge and familiarity with oncology research and clinical trials to support a robust oncology research team.
