Drafter (AutoCAD) - Houston, TX 77041
Pay : up to $22.00 per hour

Summary
Using AutoCAD (Computer Aided Design), prepare clear, complete and accurate product layouts from site surveys for use by installers during field installation.
Duties
- Create product layouts for proofing of product applicability in support of field installation.
- Manipulate and dimensionally position customer graphic designs for product applications using AutoCAD.
- Make final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
- Create layouts for proofing of product applicability in support of Engineering.
- Draft orthogonal and sectional views of mechanical assemblies.
- Create flat patterns and profile views for fabrication of sheet metal.
- Insert, edit, and output title block drawings in various drawing sizes and scales.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of AutoCad Drafting experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Detailed, organized and a team player.
