Responsibilities :

• Assist in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions, working closely with our licensed Physical Therapists.
• Treatment Implementation : Implement treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist, providing hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and manual techniques.
• Progress Monitoring : Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Patient Education : Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities.
• Accurate Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Stay Current : Keep up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies.

Requirements :

• Education : Associates degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure : Valid Alaska state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Knowledge : Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Skills : Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Problem-Solving : Exhibit excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
