This position can be remote or hybrid-based near one of our offices and is based around East Coast working hours. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

We are searching for a Lead Software Developer / Product Manager to add bandwidth to our Data Manager team in both the technical and leadership area.

This role will act as the lead on selected projects, act as a mentor for the team, and perform releases when necessary.

Your impact :

• Act as the lead on selected projects. This will involve gathering requirements, designing solutions, assigning tickets, monitoring / managing progress, and coaching team members as needed.
• Work closely with other developers and Stakeholders to construct new software, tools, and custom solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
• Develop high quality code that adheres to best practices in design, proper testing, and good documentation.
• Fulfill stakeholders' needs and ensure they are satisfied with the end result.
• Other related duties as assigned.

About you :

• 7+ years of experience developing in an object-oriented language.
• Proficient with Java 8+, Rest APIs, and JavaScript / React
• 2+ years of team leadership / coaching experience
• 2+ years of experience leading software projects
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to break down complex projects into manageable, assignable pieces
• Excellent communication skills
