our west coast facility is home to the country’s largest selection of pre-fabricated countertops and vanity tops.
Responsibilities :
- Drive sales of all K&B products
- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities and follow up on leads
- Deliver compelling product knowledge presentations highlighting our diverse and competitively price products
- Ability to effectively manage accounts and build long-term relationships with clients in the industry trade
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor offerings
- Participate in trade shows and network events and social media
- Meet Personal sales target and performance goals
Must Have
- Self-motivated team player who works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and result oriented
- Excellent communication with customers including, presentation, providing accurate information, skillful negotiations, timely follow ups and / or problem resolution and ability to close the sale
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, exceeding targets and building strong relationships
Job Description / Expectations :
- Conduct weekly calls Includes servicing existing customers as well as cold calling potential customers (average 20 calls per day)
- Conduct daily customer visits and job sites, locally or out of state
- Conduct daily client follow-ups via calls, email or visits
- Maintain a weekly report of sales calls
- Maintain a weekly report of travel and customer meeting schedule
- Maintain a monthly report on sales, leads and opportunities
- Develop and execute monthly strategic sales plan to identify opportunity for account growth, upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings to existing and new customer to achieve sales target
- Prepare monthly travel calendar based on strategic plan
- Prepare monthly sales call based on strategic plan
- Conduct area market analysis of top accounts in each area Including top dealers, top contractors and top builders.
- Research area market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes most purchased in the area to determine sales strategy
- Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company approved product margin goals
- Create quotes, sales orders, schedule delivery for customers for product purchased, returns and exchange. Daily follow up
- Identify challenges or issues with customers’ accounts and develop creative solutions to address them. Make appropriate recommendations or changes as necessary for improved customer satisfaction.
- Manage & set up displays, towers, samples at customers locations
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirements :
- High School Diploma
- Current Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required
- Travel to new markets on behalf of the company, locally and out of state travel
- Minimum 3+ years prior selling experience with a proven track record of success
- Intermediate computer skill to include functional knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook and salesforce
- Proven experience in sales or business development in the building material and distribution stone industry
- Ability to follow business policies and procedures
