Opportunity : Part-time opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Tech with a growing medical practice in the CSRA.

Duties (summary) : The Ultrasound Technician is tasked with capturing diagnostic images for physician review through ultrasound procedures.
The individual will prepare equipment and exam rooms, assist patients in understanding the appointment process from transportation to the ultrasound procedure, and adhere to ultrasound practices and policies.

A willingness to learn how to perform a full neck ultrasound, carotid dopplers, and evaluation of the salivary glands.
Skills and Qualifications :
- An Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program
- At least 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician
- Proficiency with computer software commonly used for documentation and sonographic report presentation
- Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws
- Proficient in troubleshooting common software and hardware challenges concerning the regular use of an ultrasound machine. (We use the GE.)
- Accountability and attention to detail is essential when handling and documenting important medical information
- A friendly and professional demeanor is required when explaining procedures and processes to patients
Schedule : Part-Time, Monday & Wednesday, No major holidays.
Location : Augusta Office
