FIX Production Support Specialist

Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for hands-on FIX Onboarding and Production Support Specialist

This on-site role, 5 days in the office.

3 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US - NO H1 Visa support for this role

Rate : $60-67 on W2, possible C2C as well.

FIX Onboarding and Production Support Specialist

hands-on FIX Onboarding and Production Support Specialist who will be part of our Equity IT DevOps team supporting Equities, Options, Futures and Post trading allocations.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical background with experience working with FIX Protocol and troubleshooting associated technical issues.

Main responsibility will be working with clients to onboard them into our FIX trading platform and provide ongoing support to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5+ years’ experience working with FIX protocols with deep understanding of FIX messages and order routing.
• Work with clients as well Trading Desk to understand their FIX on-boarding requirements and configure FIX settings to meet their needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related with FIX connectivity, On-boarding , working with Internal as well External team if required.
• Co-ordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that FIX On-boarding and Production support are in line with the Business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of Clients Onboarding and production support activities and update knowledge base / wiki on regular basis.
• Work with external software vendors that have integrated with our systems, or vice versa
• Co-ordinate the release of new applications and FIX configurations and enhancements with external clients

• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with ability to strong relationship with clients and internal stake holders.
• Strong Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to details and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work independently and as part of team.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
