Job Title : Project Manager HVAC Equipment Manufacturer

Location : New York, NY

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000

We are partnering with a leading HVAC equipment manufacturer based in New York, seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team.

Our client specializes in designing and supplying state-of-the-art HVAC systems for various commercial and residential projects.

They need a Project Manager who can expertly coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and equipment integration.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Project Manager for an HVAC company, with a deep understanding of HVAC systems, installation processes, and the complexities of working within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary contact between the HVAC manufacturer and general contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, overseeing all aspects of HVAC equipment supply and installation.
• Manage project timelines to ensure HVAC systems are delivered and installed on schedule and in compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with the manufacturer’s internal teams (engineering, logistics, procurement) to ensure equipment is produced and delivered to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to resolve material or equipment delays, ensuring the project remains on track.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect installations, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure equipment is installed according to safety and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, tracking costs, processing change orders, and ensuring project profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and quick resolution of any project-related challenges.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including progress reports, scheduling updates, and close-out documents.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the HVAC industry, with prior experience working as a Project Manager for an HVAC company.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and construction project lifecycles.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders within the construction industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, including Microsoft Office, and construction management platforms like Procore or Bluebeam.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training (preferred).
