If so, Donaldson, a leader in the multi-family property management industry, has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Leasing Consultant! We are seeking a talented Leasing Consultant with prior experience for a 379 -unit residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Hillstone Apartments / Stanton Glenn Apartments).
Key responsibilities include :
- Assisting in coordination of unit turnovers with move-ins.
- Inspecting made-ready units to ensure quality.
- Preparing resident / prospect correspondence as directed.
- Maintaining complete resident files.
- Processing applications for pre-approvals (credit check, income requirements, rental history, etc.) and submit applications.
- Preparing accurate lease packages according to company policy.
- Assisting residents with move-in orientation to include pre-apartment inspection, lease signing and move-in inspection with resident.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential property management
- Tax Credit Specialist Certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to multitask
- Professional appearance
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Yardi
- Some weekend work
