POSITION PURPOSE :

Assists Front Desk Manager with overseeing all Front Office Operations to ensure profitability, control costs, and maintain quality standards to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Supervises front desk staff and assists with greeting guests, checking guests in and out, handling guest requests and complaints, and managing group check-ins.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Supervises front desk staff, reservations, and bell staff as needed.
- Ensures all daily functions from checklist are completed.
- Greets guests and checks them in and out.
- Answers phones.
- Performs manual and computer posting of transactions.
- Handles money, credit cards, and checks.
- Issues mail and messages to guests.
- Deals with guest complaints.
- Takes reservations.
- Provides directions and answers guest questions.
- Enters wake-up calls.
- Delivers items to rooms.
- Loads paper / toner into machines.
- Performs additional duties or projects as assigned by Front Office Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Previous front desk management experience required.
- Good communication and math skills.
- Accurate typing skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Accurate computer aptitude.
- Supervisory and organizational skills.
- Ability to walk / stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Meet deadlines for assignments and projects.
