About this role
A well regarded hospitality studio in Manhattan is looking for a mid-level interior designer with strong technical skills.
The ideal candidate is proficient in agile process facilitation, resource planning, construction project scheduling and phasing.
You'll join a team of industrious designers to work on dynamic projects across residential, hospitality, & yatch interiors!
Key responsibilities
- Robust technical skills, software knowledge and high proficiency with project detailing especially at the schematic design and construction documentation phases
- Ability to create excellent presentation level drawings and interior elevations
- Confidently prepare drawings and plans for all aspects of a project from lighting fixtures to furniture, material finishes, electrical layouts, elevations and details and planning submission packages
- Assist in design site visit meetings with contractors and clients
- Has demonstrated effectiveness working in a team setting, communicating with others, & client satisfaction
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 5-8 years of professional experience
- Proven professional practice working within and generating technical CD sets
- Software proficiencies should include : AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, 3D rendering (a plus, but not required).
