Indian River Preserve Golf Club, located in Mims, Florida, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Cart Attendants.
Indian River Preserve is an 18-hole golf course co-designed by renowned golf course architect Perry Dye and LPGA champion Jan Stephenson.
The course features lush fairways across a rolling landscape, surrounded by serene lakes, nature preserves, and wildlife.
The Indian River Preserve clubhouse is home to Andrei’s Restaurant, serving seasonal, local fare and a large banquet facility capable of hosting weddings and private catered events.
Responsibilities of the Cart Attendant at Indian River Preserve Golf Club include :
- Completing daily opening or closing procedures.
- Hand picking certain areas of the short game area.
- Touring the cart staging area, bag drop, and driving range several times an hour to ensure it is operating accordingly.
- Keeping the golf carts organized and clean with pencils, scorecards, tees, etc.
- Checks golf carts for damage and washes carts on a daily basis.
- Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
- Assisting the Head Golf Professional with the cart staging during all tournament operations.

- Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push / pull, move heavy objects.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently :
- Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
- Work near : moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
