Job Description :
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and have experience in shipping and computer operations? We are seeking a Shipping Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach their destination efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect products for accuracy and quality, and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
- Use computer systems and software to process and track customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Prepare shipments by carefully packing items, selecting appropriate packaging materials, and labeling packages with shipping information.
- Complete shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels, adhering to regulatory and company standards.
- Perform quality checks on products before shipping to ensure they meet established standards.
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and carriers to coordinate shipping schedules, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations while operating equipment and handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Maintain and operate shipping equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Accurately record shipping and inventory data in computer systems, and generate reports as needed.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Proficiency in using computer software for order processing and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of shipping and safety regulations is a plus.

$17 - $20
