Cage Cashier - Grave Shift

Position Summary

Is responsible for courteously and accurately providing guests and team members professional service in both Cage and Reward’s Club operations.

Job Qualification Statement

The successful Guest Service Attendant applicant must be 21 years of age or older and demonstrate math skills to meet the expectations of the position.

A minimum of one (1) year of cash handling and customer service experience are required. The Guest Service Attendant will be able to effectively communicate with other team members, supervisors and managers.

The Guest Service Attendant has the ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining organization of work process. The ability to operate a variety of office equipment to include copier, fax machine, telephones, calculator, computer, coin counting and currency counting machines is necessary.

Essential Job Functions

• Handles large sums of cash, coin and chips.
• Provides professional, efficient and accurate guest service to internal and external guests.
• Fills and reconciles slot redemption kiosks on the gaming floor, which includes pushing a cart with cash cassettes that will weigh between 250 and 500 pounds.
• Maintains accountability for, and security of, all currency and keys within his / her control.
• Performs administrative duties by way of accurate data entry, receiving and forwarding messages and communicating with other departments.
• Complies with all state, company and department regulations, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with said regulations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position requires that the team member be able to stand for long periods of time, up to five (5) hours without a break, to ensure adequate guest service standards are maintained.

This position involves some walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of light items and pushing a wheeled cart up to 500 pounds.

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

The work environment involves everyday risk of discomforts associated with excessive standing, computer monitor use and cash handling.

Use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and observance of fire regulations is needed.

The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
