As a senior director in the Compute organization, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture and management to the critical function of host management.
Servers are the lifeblood of OCI, and enabling them to be managed efficiently and reliably is paramount to our customers' success.
You run deep, managing software development org and high-level projects, whilst developing short, medium, and long-term objectives.
You interact across functional areas with senior management and executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Your teams build enhancements within the critical software architectures that run Compute, envision, and manage future improvements to the architecture.

Compute is looking for a senior software development director with cloud experience to join our development team. You will manage multiple organizations that consisting of software engineers and software development managers responsible for software architecture and development for major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure.
You should be comfortable with managing and providing technical leadership at developing software that interacts closely with the hardware.
You thrive at diving deep with your teams in determining the best ways to develop software manage our hosts and the complex interactions at the hardware layer.

This role will drive major aspects of our product definition, contribute to the product strategy of our solutions, and is paramount to the reliability and efficiency of Compute.
Basic Qualifications :
7+ years of management experience in enterprise software, with management of managers 10+ years of experience with applications development with 5+ years in large scale distributed applications / web services Bachelors in computer science and Engineering or related engineering fields
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior development experience with Cloud infrastructure and hardware interactions Masters / PhD degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields

As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks, teams, and organizations associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications their hardware interactions.

US : Hiring Range : from $142,900 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
