Progressive Leasing, in collaboration with community partners, is dedicated to empowering students in the West Valley City area through education and workplace readiness programs, with a strong emphasis on technology - through efforts of the PROG Foundation.

We achieve this by offering academic support and workplace readiness training, technology certifications, guidance on college preparedness and completion, internships or mentorships, and ongoing support to help individuals build professional relationships.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join us as a Program Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to empowering the next generation of technology professionals, meticulous and focused, and aligned with our organization’s values.

The ideal candidate is business savvy, with a proven track record of strategizing and implementing both high-level and detailed initiatives.

As Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in administering all aspects of the PROG Development Center programs. This includes program strategy, delegation, and implementation, while collaborating with partners and serving as a leader, coordinator, and facilitator.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (CORE RESPONSIIBLITIES) :

  • Strategize, implement, monitor and maintain program initiatives, daily activities that includes the logistics of scheduling and calendaring and deadlines that adhere to Center objectives and key results
  • Coordinate program and projects, and manage project interdependencies and capacity constraints
  • Lead high level technical discussions, internally and externally, to ensure all technical requirements are met
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
  • Experience with agile traits and techniques : lead design, accommodating change requirements, iterations, loop feedback with youth and participant involvement
  • Document program protocols, policies and procedures that reflect best practices. Assist team in exploring new concepts that will deliver innovative solutions and significant advancements
  • Facilitate committees with stakeholders to discusses program status, goals, communication, problem-solving, and (re)alignment of deliverables that will lead to successful program outcomes
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
  • Moderate understanding of industry trends that will impact strategies, strengths and weaknesses of our programs and volunteer coordination
  • Work closely with PROG Center Director and colleagues to develop plan for programs, deliverables, required resources, communication, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Assist with negotiating service / development contracts or MOAs and support the budget and resource forecasting process
  • Work with leadership and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time and costs
  • Foster positive team environment and provide direction in ambiguous situations
  • Be a resource in developing upfront estimates of time and resource utilization through organized discovery with stakeholders, partners, youth participants and community
  • Be proactive and exercise the initiative to identify youth and participant experience. Own their experience and think and act in ways that places the youth and participants first
  • Be an enthusiastic learner and make suggestions to remove impediment to program success based on learned knowledge
  • Identify and address key requirements, problems, risks and opportunities from cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and use data visualization for program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Supervise additional members of the PROG Development Center; hold self and team accountable for high performance standards and coaches when necessary
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of grant requests, funding continuation, and reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration or related field
  • 5+ years in a management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management
  • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork and motivational skills
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and program / project management software
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM or like software

TIME COMMITTMENT

  • Hours are generally Monday through Friday between 9-6pm
  • This may need to be adjusted to accommodate the needs of the mission of the PROG Development Center
