Middle School Level Classroom Teacher

St. Madeleine Sophie School in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a certified Elementary and / or Secondary Education teacher ideally with a background in Special Education to teach a variety of middle school subjects - including Language Arts and Religion - for the 2024-2025 school year.

Class size varies but is expected to be approximately 20-24 students or less per period.

We seek an energetic, active, self-starter who is willing to grow into the role, demonstrating an ability to effectively design and manage a contemporary classroom environment and build strong, positive communications with parents.

The teaching responsibilities, when finalized, could vary but a successful candidate will have the background and love to teach all learners.

The duties will include at least one homeroom period. We are looking for a successful candidate who possesses solid training in English Language Arts.

Training in current instructional techniques and innovative learning theory, including a working familiarity with Washington State’s Learning Standards is highly desired.

A practicing Catholic candidate with some history in, and familiarity with, Catholic private school education, is desired.

An ability to help contribute to the design of our growing school and become an integral member of the team for the long term is essential.

Salary : Range : $45,000 to $65,000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

Statement of Vaccination Requirement Condition of Employment
