Job Description
A busy family is seeking a dedicated Full-time Travel Nanny to care for their 1-year-old baby. The ideal candidate will be an extension of the family, offering nurturing and reliable support while ensuring a structured and engaging environment for the baby.
The nanny will travel with the family, primarily caring for the baby and assisting with light household duties to maintain a well-organized home.
This position is live-in while traveling over the summer.
The ideal nanny is mature, loving, and can create a warm and nurturing atmosphere. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred, with a background in Montessori education being a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Provide attentive, loving care to a 1-year-old baby, fostering developmental milestones.
- Engage baby in playful activities, such as singing and games, while maintaining a quiet environment when parents work from home.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for baby.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including dishes, family laundry, and general tidying and organization.
- Run occasional errands as needed.
- Prepare ingredients for family meals by washing and chopping, ensuring ease for the mother to cook. (Cooking for parents is not required.)
Pay Rate
$28-33 / hr plus paid time off

- Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
- Family summers in Toronto, Canada for 2-3 months. Also, the family goes on occasional trips throughout the year, typically between 4-10 days at a time. Passport required.

Kensington Nanny Agency Requirements
- Must have 3 or more years of recent, verifiable professional private home experience
- Understanding of professional boundaries, modesty and dressing appropriately
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Have a reliable car
- Excellent driving record
- Be drug-free
- Able to swim
- Have a stable work history
- Speak excellent English must read & write
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Have no criminal record
- Be CPR & First Aid Certified (prior to beginning work in the home)
