Job Description
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Leader of Commercial and Industrial Sales! We are seeking an energetic, resourceful, resilient, and kind sales leader who is passionate about building and growing a team focused on transitioning their communities to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral future.
This role will make a meaningful impact in the rapidly evolving landscape of energy efficiency solutions. The C&I Sales Leader will be responsible for building and growing a team focused on commercial and industrial customers with the goal of identifying, qualifying, and converting leads into signed agreements and meeting or exceeding their annual sales goals.
They will work in a cross-functional team and be responsible for the preparation of proposals, business cases, and presentations to customers.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can
- Provide day to day leadership of our sales team to meet and exceed sales and growth targets inside an assigned region.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sales targets and KPIs for individual and team sales performance.
- Ensure that the sales team leverages internal and external resources to identify and close qualified C&I customers.
- Develop strategic relationships with industry associations, supply chains, and trade allies.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals tailored to Commercial and Industrial leads stakeholders and any other internal and external groups as needed.
- Proactively work with the Program Director and other departments such as engineering, finance, and operations.
- Champion the creation of sales and commission plans and processes, and analysis of forecasting and sales data.
- Lead strategy for building a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Drive team performance by setting strategy and developing team sales goals and objectives.
- Drive the recruitment, hiring and training of sales directs.
- Track, monitor and redirect team performance.
- Attend and / or assist in securing executive level sales meetings as needed.
- Communicate best practices and personal / professional development opportunities for team.
- Regularly travel.
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have
- 10+ years of outside sales experience including 4+ years leading a sales team.
- Proven experience leading a sales team through the full sales lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales experience in industrial processes or commercial building systems, HVAC, or BAS.
- B2B sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Completed formal sales training.

$139,500.00 - $209,300.00
