JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
We are on the hunt for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to lead the Delivery Experience (DEX) worldwide, enhancing the shopping experience for millions of customers.
This role involves backend development to innovate and manage delivery information, ensuring customers receive timely updates about their orders a mission-critical component of our e-commerce platform.
Your work will directly impact millions by delivering scalable, fault-tolerant systems and improving delivery discoverability and messaging across all customer interfaces.
- Develop and improve services and tools that enhance delivery option discoverability and customer messaging.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling millions of operations daily.
- Lead projects requiring enhancements to multiple systems, including those not owned by your team.
- Architect solutions to new challenges across multiple systems, effectively communicating technical visions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the company, ensuring smooth integration and implementation of solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
