Human Resources Generalist

Wixon is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist with strategic and tactical experience to partner with the Human Resources Director in executing strategic initiatives, benefits administration, investigations, 401K audits, HRIS management, and more.

Key Responsibilities for this role include :

• Develop relationships and provide cross-department support in a business partner capacity
• Support plant management and employees in program administration, employee relations, retention, payroll, safety, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, and workers' compensation
• Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, from postings to, managing resource relationships, creating offer letters, background checks, and new hire orientations
• Oversee all aspects of personnel records and administration of the company’s HR systems
• All things benefits-related, from education and administration to eligibility, enrollment, reconciliation, and associated 401 K administration
• Assist in developing and implementing human resources programs, policies, procedures, and practices.
• Oversee all compensation-related services from job evaluations and job descriptions, to conducting salary research, and processing pay adjustments
• Conduct employee investigations and make recommendations to the HR Team and / or necessary staff
• Lead HR metrics from data analysis to special projects

Qualifications for this role include :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• years’ experience in an HR Generalist Role in a manufacturing environment, highly desired
• MS Office Suite, heavy Excel, as well as HR IS and payroll software, ADP a plus
• Knowledge of EEO, federal and state employment and benefits laws and compliance requirements; PHR or SPHR desired
• Proven attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
