Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Design Engineer position include :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of HVAC design experience in commercial, commercial interiors, and institutional environments.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- Proficiency in HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, developing control systems, and performing site surveys.
- Working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is preferred.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to lead a team and manage projects.
- Oversee electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project schedules and budgets.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
