We are seeking a DC Coordinator (Night Shift) for our First Quality Tissue facility located in Anderson, SC. DC Coordinators are responsible for coordinating finished goods loading.
They monitor inventory quantities and customer orders to ensure all orders are loaded in a priority that ensures on time shipment performance.
They review product inventory levels and coordinate offsite moves to and from local offsite warehouses. Works with Customer Service and carriers.

Primary responsibilities include :
- Attend drivers’ window to distribute BOL’s and verifying carrier signatures and destination.
- Prepare and distribute all designated shipping documents.
- Communication with internal and external customers.
- Backup for DC Coordinators and Day Scheduler for vacation and absences.
- Maintaining record retention according to record retention policies.
- Observe all safety rules and use the proper safety equipment at all times.
- Maintaining spreadsheets pertaining to shipment activities.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills :
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment on a straight shift schedule.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MicroSoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be able to communicate effectively (written and orally) within the organization as well as outside the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage completing priorities.
- Working knowledge of inventory procedures and over the road transportation.
- Working knowledge of product codes and warehousing procedures.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and facilitative skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
