Description
This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, safety, and sustainability improvements within our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing projects that enhance equipment, services, and infrastructure in line with Kraft Heinz Management Systems.
Responsibilities
- Project Management : Lead projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing environmental, health, safety, and food safety risks.
- Financial Oversight : Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Documentation : Create comprehensive engineering corporate governance documentation, clearly outlining project deliverables and specifications.
- Communication : Effectively communicate project requirements to a diverse audience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Procurement Support : Collaborate with the Procurement Department to negotiate and finalize contract agreements with vendors and contractors.
- People Management : Day to Day management of Graduate engineer
- Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and food safety policies.
- Process Improvement : Utilize engineering expertise to critically analyse and challenge existing processes, driving continuous improvement.
- People Management : Day to day management of Graduate Engineer.
About you :
The successful candidate will demonstrate :
- Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 years practical experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of OH&S and EPA regulations and systems.
- Experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Continuous improvement and working with lean manufacturing conditions.
- Ability to manage a team providing coaching, guidance and task delegation.
