Specialist Orthodontist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Specialist Orthodontist to join the team at Weston Orthodontic Centre, BS22 8AA .

Weston Orthodontic Centre was established in 1993 and moved to purpose-built premises in 2009. Andrew Parfitt joined the original practice in 1995 and has been integral in developing the digital technologies and techniques within the new practice.

Having qualified in Guys and been an active member of regional committees where he also served as Chairman, Andrew is now planning for retirement;

as such, we are seeking a Specialist Orthodontist to replace Andrew.

This is the ideal role for those who enjoy being in a specialist orthodontic practice, run to the highest standards with a stable and skilled practice support team which includes Orthodontic Therapists.

We can offer :

• A mixed NHS and private role, with days and UOAs to be discussed. If you are a Specialist Orthodontist who is interested in working in a highly established specialist clinic, we are open to exploring what your transition into the role could look like.
• The practice has a stable team who all work wonderfully together to ensure a smooth patient journey and efficient ways of working and is the only specialist orthodontic practice in North Somerset.
• With an experienced Practice Manager, 2 Receptionists, 3 Orthodontic Therapists, and Multiskilled and experienced Nurses who run record clinics, take radiographs, and do all scanning, you would be joining a team offering high levels of support.
• You will be 1 of 3 Specialists in clinic initially, joining Andrew and our other Specialist.
• If you are a newly qualified specialist looking for a practice you can grow within, where mentoring and support is available, we can offer this.

The role is equally suited to a tenured and skilled specialist who is looking to work in an established mixed NHS / Private clinic.

• Due to forward planning, we can be flexible with days.
• The practice is based in a business park and benefits from free parking.
• A seaside commuter town, close to Bristol and lots of villages with easy access to the M5 and A roads.
