The Proposal Manager is responsible for leading, planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timely development and delivery of high-quality responses to business opportunities, from pre-RFP to post-submission activities, in a dynamic environment.
Accountabilities
- Monitor and identify bid opportunities. Distribute solicitations to the appropriate stakeholders for decision-making
- Coordinate go / no-go decisions with the Business Development Group
- Maintain bid site database
- Drive the proposal process; work in partnership with the appropriate Business Development team. Lead strategy discussion, coordinate process meetings, develop timelines, and ensure all proposal requirements are met.
- Review and analyze RFP / RFQ to establish clients needs and submission requirements
- Attend pre-proposal meetings and / or interviews when requested
- Collaborate with other departments to finalize proposals
- Build and maintain a proposal library
- Draft, edit, complete and produce competitive proposals and presentations
- Ensures proposals and presentations are brand compliant
- Assist in review of all submittals to assure that they are compliant with their respective RFQs / RFPs
- Submits final proposals for consideration
- Update appropriate areas of corporate databases and network folders with project, resume, or proposal text information as needed
- Develop persuasive text for competitive resumes, project descriptions, and proposal boilerplate
- Work closely with marketing and business development departments to improve the quality of written material produced
Skills and Experience
- Excellent written, interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Professional

Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in writing, editing, and preparation of proposals
- Valid driver’s license
