Responsibilities Admissions RN completes assessments for patient admissions. Responsible for all referrals; provides information to individuals, agencies, facilities and professional staff (i.
- e., physicians, consulting professionals), requests information regarding potential admissions, develops and / or maintains relationships with ongoing referral sources to alternate treatment resources when appropriate;
- completes insurance verification and pre-certifications as applicable; participates in crisis and safety interventions as needed;
- assists in performance improvement / quality measurement activities as assigned. Work schedule is 3 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am;
with rotating weekends. Experience : Two years’ experience in behavioral health setting preferred. License / Certification : Current North Carolina or compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
