We are seeking a highly motivated litigation attorney to work out of our office in Long Beach, California on a hybrid work schedule .

You will carry out all litigation phases, from case management and motion practice to mediation and trials. Our team includes effective and seasoned legal professionals dedicated to providing consistent mentorship to aspiring associate attorneys.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
• Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
• Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3 - 10 years of experience in California litigation
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

COMPENSATION BENEFITS :

• Base Salary $130,000 - $225,000
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
